Shoque and I have been doing this. It works perfectly. If anyone has any questions about a SOLD item, they can just PM they buyer and or seller.

Can new members or members who are not new but are new to posting please do their research through the forum before starting new threads that already exist? There is a search function for a reason. Also, it is always good to check out your surroundings before blindly posting things. Also, please read the Forum Member Guidelines: http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=announcement;aid=1

If possible, it may be a good idea to have a "MUST-READ-OR-ELSE" type link listed at the top of the Index/Main Forum Page. It could contain vital information and guidelines on all the boards (Products, B&S, etc.). Obviously new folks will have to read it voluntarily, but the more visible it is the more likely it is that members might at least give a look through.
Being on the Forum Index page, would also make it easier IMO to reference the guidelines, as I'm sure other members besides myself do on occasion. Just some thoughts, as I know fora etiquette seems to need perennial attention and I likes me fora clutter free.

Lando and that_was_easy, you both have valid points, but in my experience, there's little you can do about this.
People who don't read the rules or haphazardly post won't read the rules before posting no matter what kind of crazy font you put it in, and using the goddamn search button is a real challenge to some people for a reason that is beyond my level of comprehension
I don't know if it's the internet that has bred this type of member, but seriously, people just need to do a nominal amount of reading before they go rip shit on a forum…don't know why it's such a big deal...

I think there should be a .gif of giles dancing on the front page of the forum; it would be the revelation to top all other revelations! Hehehe, nah, but in all seriousness, 2 things:
- People need to fncking read threads and do their research about whatever is intresting them, no 10 year olding
And 2) Mods and Pimp Master Padmore are doing a great job.

Is it possible when a moderator moves a thread t the correct are if they could DELETE the original post instead of just locking it? There really is no reason to keep it up in the wrong area "Locked." It only takes up space and looks unorganized. Just my two pennies…

Edit: FIXED.

So I think that Bumping threads needs to be addressed now that it has begun happening. IMO I don't think that bumping a thread is a good thing on such a small forum unless there is a price drop. Maybe this could become a rule and then once the forum gets large enough the issue is addressed at that time???
