Might pick up one of the Sages soonish. Seems like most Spyderco collectors feel the Taiwanese made knives are the best in fit and finish.
Was thinking about doing the same but "made in Taiwan" stamp held me back… :-\
I was the same way. Trust me, don't let the "Made in Taiwan" stamp fool you. The F&F on my Techno is absolutely amazing. This thing is built like a tank.

5"3/4 opened… It's fun to play with it unless you have to open and close it almost continuously for hours on end...
