The Flat Head

Yo Danny I'm in that camp, 44-48 chest, all of their 2013 denim shirts for this year are pretty sweet, i had one last year in 44 or 46 and the shoulders were like 22 inches and the chest was like 20 pit to pit. It was a joke. It's like patterns over size 40 are just dartboard design as they have no idea of the dimensions of giants.

I have to agree with simonc. FH sizing on some shirts seem to suit body-builders. Shoulders are huge but chest are smaller. Would have prefer 44-45 chest and 19-20 shoulder.

Q

Iron heart shirts run much larger than Flat Head ones.
-
Do IH shirts run bigger than FH??
It's not just that they run larger, they are designed for normal people…...Doing a 46 or 48 in TFH will not solve the problem of fit, if you anything like a gut TFH are a no no.....

A Flat Head question for anyone - I tried some 3009s in TS38 form self edge, and they were no where near the measures shown on the website - they said W38L38, but when I got them they were at best 36-36 - I could get them on but they'd be way too small after a soak. So I have a credit - I see they have the LHT, SExFH collaboration with "Ring-Ring" in a 38W, pre-soak measurements shown as 38x40. The $485 (gulp) is not such a bite since I have a credit from the return… so I'm thinking... Anyone have experience with these jeans? Are they worth it? Any advice on how they compare (fit) to IH BBs or 666?

the ring ring collabs I really like, the denim is great, the wrangler inspired details are unique, and I really like the fit. They run large in the waist and wont shrink much until machine washed a few times. my w30 are something like 33-34 now so ask them to directly measure a pair before you buy. I can't compare to BB or 666 but generally they're a roomy top block and slim leg

That's a loaded question if there ever was one

do u mean at u have soaked the 3009 and u will send back to SE to have a store credit?
No - I ordered the 3009s based on the measurements at self-edge, got them but they were off (smaller) by 2" in waist and inseam - didn't dare soak them. So I returned them, now I have a credit I "have to" use (not a bad problem to have). Not sure about Plan B. Looking for thoughts on the Ring Rings… Love my BBs and 666-18s - don't know why but I got curious about the Flat Heads, just did.

Thnaks for all the posts and pm's. I shall certainly start to stock 38W TFH jeans where possible (maybe up to a 40 in the 3009) . I'm not sure if they have ever been asked before to make a 48 shirt but I'll certainly ask. If possible I would order in just several popular flannels.
