Looks pretty tight in the ass and thigh area. I think a 634 would be the perfect jean for ya.

      why so serious?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting these or the 666L. I already have the 301S and absolutely love them. For the peeps that have both, are they that much different? These seem to taper more and have a looser top block, but is the difference that noticeable? Since these are kind of similar, I thought about just going with the 666L.

Hey man. The 666L are not out yet. Check out the 666L thread on this forum for some information on them. The biggest difference probably being a huge difference in denim weight (21ozvs14.5oz). Also one is right hand twill and the other is left hand.  If you meant the measurements you can get a good idea by comparing the IH-666s and IH-555.  Final measurements for the 666L won't be here until the production run is available.

^ Sorry, I meant for people that have both the 301s and these.

I really should of reread what I wrote because wow lol. I'm sorry, I meant since the 301s and these are so similar I might as well get the 666L since I already have the 301s.

Ya I wasn't Paying attention I guess… Same applies though check out the difference between the 301s and the 666 cut. The 666L isnt available yet. 301s is still the same 21oz denim.

sized 36 & pretty roomy, but an overall slimmer outline than any denim i own.  could of done 34 & stretched them a bit, but my nuts would of be pissed. no hem (at the moment) as these are my sloppy any time fit.  will see how long these hold my interest.  forgot how nice the flagship denim feels on the legs.

@motiono - check the 301s thread for comparison.

having had the 301s, 666 & 555, i'd say if you liked the 301s go with the 555 as the cut is closer than the 666 - which has a bigger leg opening.

^^^On everyone´s opinion on my fit. The pics do not do the fit justice at all.

I´ve come to realize though that they´re a bit snug in the ass/d**k area, not to tight on the thighs or the rest of the fit, but I apparently got a "big" ass… :-\

If anyone is interested in them I am listening to offers. IH-555-01 Size 36.

It is not Zimbabwe cotton.  We moved away from Zimbabwe cotton a few years ago when we could not get it without the indigo used to dye it had a green hue to it.  We now use cotton sourced to our specifications from USA, no one can tell the difference (well me, Haraki and the IH crew can't)…..

I like this as part of the IH story. Even though Zimbabwe has the rep as the best cotton, Haraki-san wasn't content to rest, and when the product started changing he found an equal quality source in the USA, which resulted in a product impossible to tell the difference. Epic.

What I like about it, and it exhibits itself in a variety of ways with Haraki, is that he specs something and as long as the spec meets his exact requirements, he is happy to go with it.  Here are a couple of examples:

                                            G.  Are these Tee's loopwheeled?  H.  Dunno, I need to check
                                            G.  Where in USA does the cotton come from?  H.  Dunno.  It matches my spec, that's all I care about.
                                            G.  Is this shirt made from selvage chambray?  H.  No, it did not need to be from a functional point of view and I like the texture of this chambray more than any other
