Nate, I grew up about an hour outside of Memphis so they play locally pretty often. The show tonight is like 20 min. from my house. -
Saw a group of people doing interesting shots at a bar yesterday. They seemed to really enjoy them as evidenced by the multiple rounds of shots. Maybe you've heard of this shot? It's called a Pickleback.
Here's the wikipedia quote:"A pickleback is a type of shot wherein a shot of whiskey is chased by a shot of pickle brine. The pickle brine works to neutralize both the taste of the whiskey and the burn of the alcohol. The Pickleback is sometimes also called a Piskey."

My daughter has started answering, "ok daddy" whenever I tell her to do something. She doesn't actually do anything I tell her to do, but at least she humors me with an affirmative response.

Yeah, I expected it to happen, just not quite so early in life. She's not even two yet, so I can look forward to her doing that to me for another, oh, 50 years.

Moving from Random Rants to Random Announcements!.. Already had two meals today!.. That's more than I had in the two days prior to that combined!..
I think the new cough syrup the doctor prescribed me, though, is meant to clear your plumbings, not your lungs… The pharmacist told me to "not take it in the evening, or I'd be up all night coughing"... So I took it a 2nd (supposed to take it 4x/ day) and last time at 5 pm... I was up til 3 am coughing... What's bizar is that the antibiotics I'm taking, are meant to "dissolve the phlegms and reduce the coughing"... My lungs must think "WHAT IS THAT EEJIT DOING FOR FECKSAKE!"... Sorry guys, doctor's orders...
And I still think it's quit annoying that when you're ill you taste and smell nothing BUT your medicines... This one in particular has a sting to it I can only imagine moonshine based on javel has...
