@tatmantall, you got me google searching. IHVB-01 with Portland Sole = Below = PERFECT!
@snowwy, this is dope!, i definitely GO for this. put my name on it, but just curious about the sizing, as per conversation with you 8 1/2 is the ideal size, i will ask around.

One other question I knew frost originally had mentioned it being the black denim… Are we still doing black denim or is it indigo now?

Pretty sure BLACKFROSTT was trying to say Black Leather Indigo Denim Scout Boot, but condensed it down to "blk denim scout boot". Urb's IHVB-01's which were the reference being quoted as identical, other than the sole, have Indigo Denim.
Knowing how slowly I break-in IH denim, I imagine it'll be years before the indigo starts lightening up, if it's indigo :).
That said, whatever G's got in mind black or indigo is fine with me :D.

Owners of these 50s Service Boots:
Just checked through the thread again and am a bit confused about sizing for the different models.
For this type is about half a size down as compared to say Red Wing Iron Rangers, i.e. if I have the Iron Ranger in US 11, I'd size these UK (standard Viberg sizing) 10.5?edited for more precise sizing question
Hi, important is the last of this Boot!
I have a Service Boot 1950 with a 2030 last and this last is in the front a little bit narrow.
I wear in RW 875 US Size 10,5 and in Viberg with the 2030 last also 10,5 Viberg Size !!!
In Viberg with a 110 last, I wear Viberg Size 10.

I hope this helps.MightyMouse, this is almost exactly what a Viberg rep told me today. The 2030 last runs a half size smaller than the listed size. So a 2030, 10.5 is really a 10.

I have took a new order at Viberg

I believe it's what aged bark leather will look like when abused for a long period of time as this is what it looks like when relatively new:
