IHSH-24 Mini Herringbone Check Western shirts

Yeah I am not sure I will be getting any of these. Actually, I am positive I will not be. The last batch I pre-ordered them from G and they were hand delivered from Japan via Kiya before SE had them… I was really excited until I felt the thin weight and wrinkled nature of the shirt. The construction, design, and patterns are incredible but I like clothing that has more body to it. Also, my girl would prob steal any of these if I were to buy them. At the moment with my huge pile, that is not an option! I might try to get her to buy her own though.

LandoCal, I'm with you. I choose Iron Heart for the heavy shit. I would never buy less than heavy duty Iron Heart – the IHSH-16 Heavy Chambray is the absolute lowest I'd go for an IH Shirt, and that shirt is pretty fucking heavy (I think Giles said between 12-13 ounces). It feels armor-like when you wear it, put it that way (but less so than the SuperBlack IHSH-08 16 oz). Heavyweight is where Iron Heart differentiates itself from the rest. In the lighter-weight arena, I can't justify the expensive cost -- despite the details and fine tailoring, the shirts are not worth their high price IMHO.

Don't get me wrong Shubs, I didn't say that the shirts are not worth it. They just are not my style as much. Of course if I had to choose between this and another lighter weight plaid, I would definitely go with one of these. The pre-wrinkled nature of this shirt does not lend itself to my "look" if you will. I just don't dig the way it falls on me. Great shirts and patterns though!

Any word on the release date for this one?

I'm digging the blue one!

Wow, I love all of those…now I gotta figure out which one to get first. And they are a lighter shirt you say? That's good news to me because it really does feel like it's 96 degrees in the shade here sometimes.
