Well ya see, the 3 Z's where out hiking in the desert and came across that Lil dude, told us he was from Belgium, traveling throughout the south western U.S. He claimed to be kind of a big deal over there so just thought you might know him? Anyone knowledgeable about kitchen machines?.. What brand fridge/ freezer combo should I get? Was looking at Samsung… Liebherr's too expensive...

I'm also buying a "damaged" machine... Discount of up to 350 € cause it has some dents or scratches... I don't care about that... Same warranty's all I need...

And yeah: leaving old machines behind... They use too much electricity... Time to cut the cord...

Bosch or Siemens.  Whirlpools are OK also.  I'd say all "big" brands are OK, and as reliable. Pretty much choice of taste and of course thickness of your wallet.

I've got an Amana that is really a re-branded Whirlpool, and we like it a lot.  We also have a Haier that got orphaned when Julie moved offices and now lives in our garage.  It was cheap, but seems just fine.
