Be sure to find a tailor close by.  IH fabric is pretty indestructible by itself.  But when sewn together into regular 5 pocket jeans, the weakness is the crotch seam.  If you work hard in your jeans you will eventually have to repair the seams and fix holes, unless you don't care about the crotch seam falling apart well before the rest of the jeans, in which case IH jeans should be great for you.

I said the same last year, but this year I àm gonna send my 666-XHS'es to the Denim Doctor (UK) for some work… Nothing's busted or broken, but a stitch in time saves nine (too true, in this case)...

i'm wearing my pair of 634s-raw to work (5 days a week)!
besides university I work in some sort of warehouse. we're producing emergency fire doors for all bigger companies or building sites all over the world (latest and last order is over 800 doors for a soccer stadium in brasil that needs to step up their game for the upcoming world championship in 2014)…IH is built to last (a long fucking time) and if you chose the right pair for the right work, you'll have no problems at all...
my 634s-raw's are my most worn, most faded but also most intact pair of jeans I own (considering the time of wear I've put into each pair!)

Before I got a desk job, I did food manufacturing inspections for the FDA. Crawling, climbing, moving boxes around, environments with boiling oil, environments that were cold and damp. They held up great. Now I do a lot of home repair in them, which does involve some woodwork and metal work

Still, nothing compared to working in a woodcraft or metalcraft facility. I'm sure Ironheart has a mechanic that's a customer somewhere, that's come pretty rough work

I know violence is not the answer, I got it wrong on purpose

Kybosh puts his jeans through PAIN, I've never seen anything like the way his jeans get whooped, even Licorice Noose. I'm not sure what he does, but if they can survive whatever he does, and get his recommendation, then they are pretty fucking tough.

I wear mine for work every single day, unfortunately I sit on my ass all day, hence epic ass fades.

Do I get special mention for putting a wear hole straight through my 666-XHS within 3 months? That's not between the thighs?

I think that's a common misconception. There are numerous strains of the medicinal variety that are geared primarily towards alleviating stress and anxiety. Moderation is important, of course.

Suggest any further discussions take place in the proper thread (the "green" one, not that I can find it). Whilst it's great for relieving anxiety and stress, at the time, it ends up causing FAR more when you're not around to take your habitual hit. Anyhow, if the right thread pops up and questions are asked, I'll likely write bits and pieces, I was legal in cali for 1/2 my time….

When choosing jeans, how much does Front Rise matters? What does a lower front rise jeans gain/ lose to a higher front rise jeans? shallower/ deeper front pockets perhaps?
                                      any views ?

Well, if you're worried about a rise on a pair of jeans, higher is always safer. IMO, higher rises are a little uncomfortable when sitting down so I prefer medium/low rises.

It depends how you wear your jeans, me thinks.  I don't really want to show my plumber's crack if the rise is too low  :P….
