Not sure if you guys were aware of these recent arrivals at Barney's.

Pretty nice 1950 Service Boots with Cap Toe in Black and Brown with Vibram Soles and Chukka Boots with Dainite Soles on Loren green and "aged bark" (whatever that is??).

The prices seem to be in line with Volls, Superdenim and other Viberg retailers.

Figured I would give all of the Viberg Fans a heads up. I happened to stumble onto these items as they weren't posted on the Viberg Blog.

Also, my brand new 1950 Service Boot w/ Danite Sole in Horween Walnut Cordovan is over in the buying/selling part of the forum if anybody wants to go the to look.

damn, $850 for those chukka's. I guess them making a more expensive product (via that interview) wasnt taken out of context.  Not trying to stir up shit, just calling a spade a spade.

Has anyone else noticed that Viberg's website has been down for a few days?  Not the blog, but the actual site.  I am trying to get in contact with someone to determine my size for one or two of these upcoming orders.

Thanks, G.  I am trying to determine my size in Vibergs, as I have never tried on a pair.  I am a size 15 in Red Wings and Timberlands.  They are a little snug, but that is the way I like them.  I put a couple of pieces of paper down and marked where the front and back of my foot ends on the pages.  My foot measures about 32 centimeters long.  I know some people have only gone down a half size when converting from US to UK sizing in Vibergs.  Unfortunately, I don't have that luxury; so I am trying to decide between a UK 14 or UK 15.  I was also wondering if there are slight variations between the models, i.e. the scouts running larger than the service boots, etc..  Thanks for your help, dudes.

Hi Sean I am a tts us 8.5 and take uk 8 in my engineer, my service and my ironworker. In the engineer i use an insole to have a proper fit together with a thin sock. The other two are worn just as they are with a good fit and enough space for the toes. My feet measure approx 25.5 cm and i add 1.5cm for the toes. Check out the sizing scale in the resource Center to get a feeling. Depending on the shoe you r probably between a uk 14 and a uk 14.5, but hei no guarantee every feet are different 😉 good luck

                                Cheers,
                                David

Thank you, davito.  I checked out the resource center and the wiki page.  I think a 14.5 would be perfect, but I don't think Viberg (or most other shoe companies) make half sizes past 13.  Still debating, but I think I am leaning toward a 14, considering they should stretch a bit with wear.

I'm with Davito with sizing down 1 whole size from my 10US to a size 9UK in both my scout and pull on boots. Both gives me like 1-1.5cm extra room for toes. Unless you have a high instep then you might probably need to go with a custom build for a pull on vibergs based on my experience on mine. Ask G-San he can confirmed this 😛
