IHJ-08 - PrimaLoft™ Quilted Nylon Jacket
-
I'm still more than happy with the purchase, I like stuff that have variation potential and that is functional without looking too mountain gear alike. So a perfect one for me. And not sure if it was ever mentioned it, but the side pockets are really great, the you can leave them open, yet they are closed with the flap concept is brilliant… not sure if that makes sence to anybody, but if you own one you should get what I mean...
and thats a crappy phone pic, name it....

Good luck in your hunt, this jacket is worth tracking down.

^ Definately. I'm perversely looking forward to a change of seasons so that I can give mine some wear ( it's summer right now in the Southern Hemisphere).
From last week:
-
Nice fit, I'm glad it's finally cold enough for you to wear it.
-
So for sizing this: Shirt size for just wearing a t-shirt under it, size up one for layering underneath?
-
That's what I did as well
-
Hard to tell in the pictures, is there anyway to cinch the bottom of the jacket?
-
I haven't picked mine up in a few months but I don't remember a cinch being there.
-
Just checked mine and indeed there is no way to cinch the bottom of the jacket. I think I posted about this a couple of pages back. I really like this jacket and it gets quite a lot of wear when I'm out and about during the colder months. For heat retention purposes, however, A-2-style wool waistband or even just a simple drawstring would be a big help.
As to sizing, I went for a medium in this which is my regular IH outerwear size. I'm between small and medium in IH shirts. As you can see from the pictures I posted on the last page, medium still works when I just want to put a t-shirt on underneath but I can also easily fit a sweater or hoodie on under it too.

Thanks guys. I decided on a Large. It matches up best with measurements I know will work. Not being able to cinch the bottom definitely made the XL too big.
