:-\  my own personal tastes are making it difficult to bite on these because of design of buckles (a little to dressy for my preference) however, is there a spec available for the thickness of the leather being used… may just purchase and switch to a diff buckle if they are built with that possibility.

The leather is 3.5 - 4.5 mm thick, I will ask if it is possible to swap buckles and get back to you.

Samples look great. Is it safe to say that the buckle determines the belt width?  If so what options are available?  Was there any luck with the 1.75" belt?  I know I wasn't the only one interested.

I dropped by Custom Leather this afternoon, and took a look at the belts on offer. The leather feels solid, and I think that you'd have to spend a lot more money to get something better. Even then, I suspect that it'd be a marginal improvement.

I really liked the blue two-tone belts on display. I don't think that Megs is offering them, but it's only a short trip up there for me. 🙂

Mega, I can't remember the shop smelling that strongly. But I've got a bit of a cold, so that sense isn't at its most acute right now.

Joe, the blue belts are really nice. And not too expensive. You know you want one. 🙂

Mega, just a question with respect to belt sizing, do we state our jeans size, or measure the overall length of a current belt. The reference to sizing in the belt post isn't totally clear, since you state in the ordering instructions (in bold), waist size, but then underneath you state "remember to order the measurement of your jeans rather than your waist". At a guess I'm thinking that the measurement of my current belt, i.e. overall length, plus waist size will give me a belt the correct length with holes in the right place?

As an aside, will these belts be embossed with the HWDC logo on the inside?

Safest to measure a current belt from where the buckle is attached to the belt, to the hole which you are using.

hey mega quick question. The London Tan Bridle is more of a light brown color or is it yellowish? and are there going to be any detail on the belt refering to the competition?

                                  Thanks

wunnaz, I won't get chance to take the pictures today, and I'm going to struggle for good light for the next couple of days due to working long days. Can I suggest that you drag the pics I have taken onto your desk top, and compare them on your screen? I think that will be quicker and easier for you.

warioss the London tan is a yellowish brown, but a really nice deep colour, one of my favourites. As for branding, I am looking into getting a branding tool made for the inside of the belts, for those who want it. Personally, I'm not really a fan of branding the belts, or on most of my clothing.
