Green ones are officially EXTINCT now. I'm surprised they sold so well. More than the red ones, I mean.
Maybe because the red version is such a classic, and many already had similar.yeah, it might be because there is zero to none green stuff although every other shirts exists in red.

Exactly. I would have preferred the Red one, but then I own around 6-7 red shirts already and only two greens. According to that logic,, a dark purple version would be great.

I suggested Brown, but it would be brown and ivory. Probably way too loud! Purple is cool, but I am having a hard time picturing purple and black though.

i don´t think this is going to be re-runned…well at least not that fast (if at all!)!
it took a pretty damn long time for Haraki and Giles to reconsider if they should do another run of shirts similar to the grail IHSH-20 or IHSH-06...imo it would be way better to see what else Haraki has in mind instead of going back to old patterns all the time!

The buffalo check seems to polarise opinion and different people have different views on it. This, of course, is perfectly fine. I would note, however, that new colour variations of the buffalo check would only mean repeating the pattern, not the colour. It's a classic pattern, so I don't see anything wrong with that. There are also plenty of other new IH releases that are able to satisfy those that want something completely new and different. I also think it's worth pointing out that these shirts sold super fast and that there is definately strong demand for them so, from a business perspective, new colour variations make good sense.

Q, I completely agree with what you are saying, but the problem is that H is running out of colors. Red, green, blue, and gray have already been done (that I know of). I think part of what makes Iron Heart so appealing (for me at least) are that the patterns and colors are timeless. They look as good today as they would have 50 years ago. In the case of the buffalo check, the best color combinations have already been covered. I think a brown variation could work; but when you start looking at purple, or orange, or whatever, the flannel begins to stray from timeless and skew toward trendy. To each his own though, and I appreciate the discussion.

i'm with seanocono. i think you start to diminish the essence of the pattern if you try to incorporate too many colors. a brown/ivory might work, but i also don't want to see purples and oranges. i honestly can't think of any colors i would like to see with the buffalo check that i haven't already seen.

I think a maroon would look nice. Maroon/ivory or gray
