i'm a little confused as to why the toe box is different for some of the service boots.  Is there a specification to get a toe box like the boondocker instead of one like is pictured on their customizer?

There are a number of different lasts/toe boxes.  The most "traditional" is a sprung last bump toe, which is what mine are….

O ok…that helps.  I got a bit more research to do it seems.

The boondocker uses the "deconstructed" toe box.  You can request it specifically in the notes if you order via their webpage.  However, if you have any doubt, or want to ask any questions, I'd recommend calling and talking to someone at Viberg to get every detail clarified.  I talked over my order with Jason, and he was super helpful, and my boots ended up exactly how I wanted.

I have to order 4 or the more of the same make up.  So if you can find 3 others who want exactly what you want, I'm all ears.  Otherwise no.  Sorry, but I do not have the time to go back and forth with multiple possible builds….
