I know a few people did but I just went with a M (38).  That's my usual IH size for the most part.  I honestly could have gone with the small if I just wanted to wear it with a T though.

Arrow, I went with a L (40). Could have gone to a medium but would have looked whack with hoodies. As it i most hoodies have a tendency to peak out of the bottom. Black hoodies blend well! I would go with an L if I were you arrow, unless you just wanna rock a long or short sleeved shirt under it.

as for me, i went with a 36. (almost went with a 40, good thing I asked on sufu). and i wear medium size regular shirts. still can wear a hoodie underneath too.

yeah, i don't have this… yet. when they first came out last year, i asked kiya to order me a sz 42 (XL), when it arrived at self edge it was a sz 40 (L). haraki-san said to size down.... but it did not work out for me. it was already a little tight without wearing a layer underneath. i wanted to be to layer it with a heavy flannel or leather jacket when i plan to ride. a few weeks later kiya goes to arizona and takes pics with "sonny".... so i think technically sonny is wearing my vest  ;D? i do plan to own this piece sooner or later

Ok so if i DO pick one of these up… sizing advice? I'm about a 38 chest right now and wear medium shirts. If i wanted to just wear a tshirt/flannel/etc under it, what size should i go for? Medium(38)?

I'd go with an M, but you may get away with an S.  DChill will be able to give you accurate advice…G

Splattered, I have a 38 and I like to wear mine over a hoodie or a jacket.  I've also worn it over a l/s button up shirt, but I just don't feel like I could sport it with just a T (my own personal taste).  G is right I proly could have gotten away with a small but I like the way my M fits.  Judging by what you said about how your other IH shirt fits I'd go with the M if I were you.  The small may just be too constricting of a feeling for you imho.  Hope this helps.  Btw you won't be disappointed this vest rocks.  Cheers.

Received it today! What a kick ass piece!

It's uhmm … rather roomy in the midsection though with a T or button up.

Wondering if i should have gone with a size S.

Yeah splattered I thought the same thing about mine, but overall I'm happy with it.  I really like the way it looks over a hoddie too.  I do feel it's too roomy to just wear with a T though.
