What is the length?

This ring was originally made for the medium cordovan wallet, but we decided it was just too beautiful not to do more with it
0.925 solid japanese silver
Rolled leather cord
Ceramic stopper allows adjustable length up to 16 inches (40 CMs)

Maybe i am not understanding the sizing of 16". That seems very small to me how is anybody going to get the necklace over their head?  Is it supposed to fit like a choker?

Thanks, the leather cord actually broke so I tied it back together and it just didn't look right wearing as a necklace….. Thanks also on the Anonimo... My Fortis is at the shop so its my replacement watch for the time being.....I love how solid it is.
