They look fine to me.  But even after a hot soak they will need hemming on Johnny's Union Special 43200G.  After a shrink and stretching back out again, they will end up the size they are now in the waist…

I did warm soak my BBRAW about 1 hour today.
here are some fit pics for post-soak. ( sorry for bad pic quality )

Denim is really nice, stiff & very slubby.

I think i need to hem about 2 and half inches coz i want to do single cuff.

                    great to hear mate!
how did you size those compared to a pair of your 634S's and how would you compare the fits in the different sections?
                    thanks in advance N.

Yup, the 18oz denim is amazing. I would have bought a pair of these in my size this run if the inseam length hadn't come up so short pre-soak.

i went with my actual true waist size on these which is 32, in my various 634 cuts i generally stuck with 30 waist, though my first pair were 29 (it was a painful battle but they are perfect now).  i feel like i have the range of motion that i have in all my 634 cuts if not a bit more.  i like that the rise is a bit higher than the 634…especially the rear rise.  it cuts down on "coin slot" moments if you catch my drift.    it comes off feeling like a slightly higher rise and slightly tapered 634s to me.  i think a second soak will tighten them up a tiny bit more and they will be perfect.

i tried the regular beatle busters in the same size a little while back and i had a very different experience.  these seem totally different to me in all the right ways.  i felt like the regular ones were going to blow out in the crotch if i got too crazy in them and the legs seemed way roomier.

the denim is perfect....kinda like a lighter version of the 23oz denim.  though i really love the 21oz denim this stuff might jump into first place for me.    i'm really excited to see how it fades.    it still feels bulletproof but might be a little better for year round wear.

after a solid week of wear post soak these may be my favorites now.  I like the fit more than the 634s which I thought would never happen.  Kudos Haraki, Giles, and Beatle.  These are legendary.

I think the 18oz denim may have a lot to do with it, as well. 21oz is fantastic, but there's just something about this 18oz that has me sold.

i agree.  the 18oz sits very differently than the 21oz.  rigid in exactly the right way.
