if there was a 35 i´d would go for that i think, but since there isn´t and since these have stretched in the right places where a bit of stretch was needed, i´m more than happy with the fit atm…so yeah, i´m happy on how i´ve sized these!

quick question, is the 555-03 or the 301bk slimmer? im confused as i read that this 555 series supposed to be the slimmest of all but according to measurement the 301bk looks slimmer.

We do not hold the 301S cut as it is exclusive to Self Edge, so it is hard to do a side by side comparison.  But any difference will be slight….

Due to the initial hot soak, i got some crack on the surface of leather patch.
Wanna ask if there's anyway to fix this or how to prevent it from cracking further.

Any decent leather oil or cream should help.  You just need to get some moisture into it.

I love black denim, the practicality of a 5pockets jeans (that we all love) with that touch of elegance that makes them very classy. When i got the 555 the bare stiffnes of the thing put me a little off. This is just my second heavy weight jeans, i now wonder how the Mega busters will feel like.

post soak fit. This isn't the confiest jeans i own, the knee is a bit too tight, but I love the fit. With my 634s i am covered in any situation.

I washed mine before wearing them, too.  I wanted to get any shrink that was in them (and there was enough to make a difference in the thigh and knee) out before wearing them so that they'd stretch where needed, but be a slim as possible everywhere else.

I tried on the IH-8301s SBG at Self Edge in a size 31 and they were spot on.  Would I be ok in a size 31 in the IH-555-03?  They look pretty much the same according to the sizing on this site and the SE site.

Following up on this before I pull the trigger.

if you're from europe, I'd say just pull the trigger in your size and exchange if needed…isn't that much of a problem!
would be a bigger problem if you're from the us or some other country, where an exchange is a bit more of a hustle!

but if you think the measurements are almost the same, I'd go with the 31 in these as well!
from my thoughts I had back then (deciding to go for 8301S or these!) I also would have went with a 34 in the 8301S, as I did with the 555-03's later on!

they were so stiff i wanted to soften them with a soak and to make the hemming stiches settle.
Also i like them to stay as black as possible so i removed the excess color and soaked with soap to fix the color…

I'm in the U.S.  Good to hear about your sizing between the two also.  I think I'll just go with the 31, it seems that the measurements are even slightly bigger in the 555 which would work too my benefit as well.  Thanks for your advice Finn!

i wear mine for a total of a month now i think and it is just starting to get a bit grey in some places! this one takes time…a lot of time i think!
