Volcano mate note that SBG behaves bit different stretchwise than indigo imho one size down should not be a prob, but i do not own the 8301. myself i would go down one i think if i would cop as long as my thighs fit. Comparing the SBG buster with the indigo, SBG stretches a lot easier and quite fast.
There are more experts out there owning this Baby, really a beautiful jeans.

would like to check, i just received this beauty and the top area fits a little snug but manageable. however the calves area, the jeans are like hugging my calves. feels like skinny jeans. is this cut supposed to be that way?

so the calves area are supposed to be hugging your calves? as in wrap around your calves firm? wouldn't use the word tight cos i think tight is appropriate only if it gets uncomfortable.

no, they not supposed to be hugging your calves, but if your calves are corresponding big it just results in that, that the denim is hugging them!

The initial try on in store took about a minute of walking around for me to button them all the way up.
I think Thomas measured the waist in store and it was about 35.5ish
So, after my second try on(have been worn for about 5mins total) the measurements are:

Tag size 34

W: 18in
FR: 10.5in
RR: 15.5in
TH:  13.2
KN: 8.5in
Hem: 7.8in
In: 33.5in

Hi.

I just ordered these from SE, and i was informed that the backrise was 13,5 inch on a size 33. The above measurements seems a little large. Also the thighs. Can anyone enlighten me. Is this model a low or high backrise ?
The reason i ordered these instead of the 555-3 was because of the lower backrise, or at least that´s what i thought.

Those measurements seem a little large when compared to those on the SE website. I have the 555-03 and the rear rise has never been a problem, but I'm also 6'2.
