Yeah, before wash.
This sanforised  denim fades with incredible contrast, very different from that of 634S. The points of friction are almost white, while elsewhere it's still dark-indigo.

Have had them almost a year now but you are correct approx 3-4mons wear. Hot soaked once about 3weeks ago

They did a bit. I didnt do any measurements(stupid, i know) but def felt a bit tighter. I did a really hot soak tho. Hottest tap water plus a huge pot of boiling water too. If u thought these bastards were stiff when new, pffffff they are ridiculous after a hang dry dude

I don't think I'll ever wash them, or if I do it will be room temp water

Think mine are going into the wash at the end of the month (just over two months wear). Seul keeps cautioning that the cotton is brittle until they see water. Hoping that will delay the inevitable crotch blowout.

Only after a wash or two would I recommend not washing them for an extended length of time… But we've discussed this before... You wear your pair, I'll wear mine...
