for me wescos are mutants of viberg and whites theyre not as expensive as vibergs but are better made and more comfy than whites. i like wesco so much! seriously i have a couple of pairs of them.
I do love my Wesco Boss Boots, but I can't get myself to buy a Jobmaster or any other model with laces from them. To me they just look a bit too round and there is something costumey about them. Even the wildest White's builds look more like real tools. Still I agree their finish is more sophisticated in some miniscule details compared to White's, but build quality as in sturdiness and materials isn't superior IMHO.
As for Viberg, I think they are the most European-looking of those three, but their success with the bread&butter or pitti uomo crowd makes me shudder. -

Sorry, I meant Wesco's aren't superior to White's in terms of sturdiness and quality of materials. both offer superior quality, but I agree that often Wesco shows more attention to detail and I have seen White's that left the factory with unevenly lasted uppers. Judging from their factory seconds, their QC seems to be very thorough.
I still think the proportions on the jobmasters are somehow odd. reminds me of old camper or the thorogood roofer boots.

Those seem a bit… impractical. Perhaps if they were more like 8-10" tall? Beautiful color leather, though.
