i never got the 8 toe joke.  Now I understand.  If its not too personal, did you really get them bit off by a shark?  Thats fucking gnarly.

Nope, had then amputated when I was 21.  Hereditary issue.  The tendons in the toes were too short.  By the time the doctors actually realised the issue, the small toes were so deformed it was best to chop them off.  At the same time the tendons in the other toes were snipped to relieve the pressure and save them.  I tell you when your toes flop under your foot, which happened whilst the tendons were rehealing) and you stand on them, there is nothing more painful…..

Those were taken on my Canon G12, on Program.  I probably had to do a bit of exposure compensation….

I once managed to bend my big toe under my foot whilst running in a pair of Vibram FiveFingers.
