yeah they fit big but i think the M can still fit up to 42" cos mine worked fine and im around 40" to 41". no offence but im just saying.
Have you guys sprayed yours with any water proofing spray? I mean, the rain doesn't go through but it gets so damn wet. Sadly, it's too cold to use it here right now though.
i was caught in a light shower while in London and they don't get damn wet as much as i can recall. i remember taking off my jacket to shake them and a fair amount of water droplets fell off and my jacket was good to go aftermath.

Thing is amazingly functional to travel with, per Volcano. Button over the pockets have been a great touch when putting passports/serious cash in a pocket. Have been throwing the jacket about and never concerned about the pocket contents coming loose!
yes mate! the buttons for the front 4 pockets are THE BEST! it keeps your stuffs safe and deters pickpocket! i safely put my passport, all my cash and iPhone before throwing them around without even worrying they might drop out.
and when you travel, you have shit loads of stuffs with you. i had packets of tissue for my flu, lip balm, iphone, passport, cash, keys, coins, small point-to-shoot camera and etc all inside the jacket! they have lots of pockets with my favourite hidden pocket inside to keep your most valuable, your passport.
all in all, its the best jacket i have ever own! period. -
Compared the measurements to my old (and crappy) Penfield Jacket. The Penfield seems to fit like L IHM-02.
I ordered a IHSH-72 in M and that was too small, don´t wanna do a mistake again! -

Hmm. I have both 72's in large, but think xl would have been better. L on the jacket and it fits but leaves enough room to layer. At first I thought about sizing down to medium but as Volcano says gotta watch out for the shoulder measurements.

well i only realised this after wearing the jacket that the shoulder measurements plays a very big role in comfort because unless your hands are always stuck by your side, its best to have allowance for the hand to move freely. i
ts like, try straightening your hands forward and make a clench your 2 hands together and swing left and right. if thats not restricting and does not make you feel uncomfortable then you're good. thats how i gauge for mine and it works for me.
I'm an L in IH tops usually, and an L in this…....

These run large the xxxl fits me fine. It is actually a bit big. JSJ this will fit you. No problem.

They do run large to give you an idea I can pefectly fit a XL size IHW-01 (Melton wool CPO) underneath my large IHM-02…
