Care For Your (Denim/ Wool/ Cotton)
-
I've washed my 21oz Samurai and my 18oz Busters monthly, and in the machine with VERY different results. Denim is an organic fabric, so trying to predict what effect a wash will have on it is like trying to predict how the tide effects the coastline…it varies.

Holy shit man, that's pretty deep and poetic.
-
I wish I could say I had been drinking :o
-
hmph…I just toss them into the machine...usually normal 40°C cycle, sometimes might do even 60°C. Spin at highest
No special laundry detergent, (Bonners ain't available here I think) also there is or isn't softener or whatever that is called...
No creases...They are just jeans
Pretty sure cowboys in 1875 didn't wash there jeans much. They are just jeans though.
-
I doubt those cowboys smelt all that good either though.
-
well…
different stroke for different folks. IF you wanna smell like an asswipe, go ahead and do as you please...
and don't blöame me if you don't get pussyand speaking about it....Seul how do you treat a sick pussy...I mean c'mon they're just jeans...and you do manual labor....LOL
-
Well yeah true enough, Jack, but I want to wear these jeans as long as possible… A wash on a delicate cycle'll still get them clean, and is better for them... A 60C° wash at 1400 fucking RPM isn't my idea of taking care of my clothes at all...
We'll have to agree to disagree here
I do NOT wear smelly clothes though... But as Doug said: the owner of smelly clothes is most likely not aware of it... I'll ask a collegue soon

@CLJ:
Volcano, does that monthly washing mean no combs set in?
well maybe i wasn't specific enough but i wore mine for about 5-6 months after initial soak before the first wash. aftermath i just wash them when i feel they are dirty (after approx 25 wears).
and no, my combs have settled because of the initial 5-6 months period. maybe its not so striking and pronounced like others but i honestly can't stand not washing my jeans since i sit practically anywhere i like. from floors to side of the road and etc. furthermore we perspire so its basic hygiene imho. so yeah, they will go into the washing machine as often as they need to.

pics of my jeans? its can be found in the 666S thread. but i didn't take any new pictures of my combs. will try to do so tomorrow.

nerkg- here's a pic of my combs mate. these were worn just 1 day after washing. there's no high contrasting fade as my jeans aren't really worn hard and i only owned them since 21st february this year and though i wish to wear them everyday straight for the past 8 months, i couldn't.
by the way, taken with flash cos its night here and my living room haven't got good lighting.

haha come on guys… they're just a pair of jeans... take g's 25oz 634s, he's washed them countless times and they still look sick as hell. plus these jeans are so thick.. throwing them in the washer doesn't do shit to the creases.. they still come out creased like how they were when I put them in.. only without all the sweat and grime
