I also would like concur with the rest of the gentlemen's regarding the sizing of Viberg. Mine you may call it half a size big but with boot socks and with my feet getting colder i tend to wear double socks and the fit is perfecto.. love my new scout boots but going to wear my pull on viberg during winter as the sole gives me more grip…

just getting ready to order a second pair and want some opions as to how far down i can go
and as to the fitting i did all that and sent them the measurements and as you can see they ignored them completely

Well if you sent in the sizing info and this is the result, then why do you want to go smaller?  I have lots of boots where my toes don't reach the end, but they feel fine, so I've never given the sizing a second thought.

Congrats on that pair Friday.  Just a little tweak of the original design, but I think everyone will agree, it was a great choice.  Always excited to see your posts because you have some unique gear!

In a pair of shoes/boots that fits, the big toe should never reach the front end of the shoe when standing; otherwise with the elongation of the foot when walking the big toe will be punching and this is going to be painful.

I think that a thumb between the big toe and the front of the shoe when standing is just the way it should be. Again it depends on the form of the toe cap but it worked for me each time.

I can't afford to, but I think I'm about to pull the trigger on the 4 horsemen boots.. I have no idea about viberg sizing though. I'm pretty sure you guys can help me..

I wear an 11.5 in redwing 1907. 12 in vans, etc.

El, Uk11 sounds the way to go but then every foot is different. You have no chance to try some boots on in person to make a first experience? Maybe graeme has some more input for u.

I wear a size 11US in most athletic shoes (PF Flyers, Nike, Mizuno, etc.) and I was unsure what size in Vibergs I'd be, so I did the measuring kit.  They put me in a size 10, which is what I would have guessed, had I not let them size me up long distance.

So I'm thinking your gut is right…

Beautiful boots on here all-around, lately.  My IHVB03's take serious abuse like no other boot I own.  Viberg's construction and quality are second-to-none.  And with the colder weather rolling in, I reach for these EVERY DAY.
