Not today, but over the weekend. We held a camp at our dojo, about 9 hours of training.

Kicked some ass, and got mine kicked…;)

jack, is it a finsk tradisjon a dojo without madras on?
right on the wood floor???

yes, pretty much. Just like in Okinawa…no tatamis.

Of course that depends on dojo. Our sisterdojo in Lahti for example has full floor hard tatami. But it was there before and there is a aikido team training also.
And witout tatami you learn pretty fast how to do ukemis right. (that wood floor is a bit bouncy, it's old style basketball floor)

nice training IJ always wanted to start a sports like you do but unfortunately my bones will not allow it due to some problems in the hips. Interesting that you wear training glasses, are they made completely out of plastic?

my training glasses are just some old ones that I don't use daily anymore…and they have real glass lenses...yaeh, I know not the safest option

after work I visited a close friend, she lives about 5 minutes from where I stay.
