yup, fit is fine, just get them hemmed so you're able to single cuff only….proper cuff width is approx. 2 inches.  😃

I know you guys were waiting for this..... 😶

As IJ full well knows, there is no "proper" way.  Each to his own.  IJ prefers a single 2 inch cuff, but shit the world be a boring place if we all liked/did the same thing…..

Hello, I am ordering a 634 s from selfedge, I got some store credit from a returned item. My doubt is , should I get them hemmed with SE or send them to Giles. What would be the more similar to he original hem? I have seen phtos of SE hemming and it looks great, but is a bit different from the original. Is Giles using the same threads, machine etc. from the factory?

                                thanks a lot!

I use the same threads from the factory.  If SE don't, they'll use something almost identical.

Get 'm hemmed at SE… Chainstitched hem = chainstitched hem...

Both done on union special. I think Mabey people choose a diff thread from Giles. Self edge does the same chainstitch, I would have SelfEdge do it. If you were to ship them to Giles it would be time and extra money for the same thing.

Self Edge will be able to get it done faster and for free, still using a Union Special machine and virtually identical thread.  I wouldn't even consider sending them anywhere else.

Selfedge for some unknown reason is NOT free. 15 dollars. I would sell the credit and buy from Giles. Prob get them faster
