Well, OK…I concede that if I were French, I might be offended by Till's comments. But I know Till well (outside of this forum) -- and yes, he can be arrogant and opinionated -- but he's no racist. Oh well...onwards and upwards. For What It's Worth (FWIW), I thought the French were sweet as pie while in Paris. Never encountered a rude person even once. I was expecting the worst, because of the rumors and the stereotypes -- but in fact, found Parisians to be genuinely kind and helpful. And most of the youngish ones (30 and younger) actually spoke decent English.
I will say this -- this forum is a lot more tolerant than SuFu and styleforum. I have to be fair and admit that. If several people complained about Till, well...then, of course, the mods have to act.

Recent events aside, I think it is probably worth remembering that there is a a cross section of nationalities here. It may be that someone's colloquialism may be someone else's insult (however inadvertent). English only happens to be the lingua franca at this point in history, at another time we could be speaking German, Russian or whatever (admittedly a paper based forum might not work very well).

Thanks Shubzz! i'm majoring in Sociology. thinking about getting a minor in history as well. after that, i'm going to be shooting for a masters in Theology and we'll see where it goes from there. Really wanna be a teacher like my dad! But i wanna teach at Public schools in/around Oakland. They could really use some good teachers. As Too $hort said
@Too:Get your high school diploma, go to college
Get a degree and start makin dollars
Only one thing wrong, and it's a trip
Inner city schools don't teach us shit
Got us stuck on stupid, straight S.O.S.
Can't get nothin, but they payin the rest of them fools
all around the world in the other countries
They should be spendin that money right here
in the state of California
You graduate and can't spell diploma -
dead, more power to you ! We need smart public school teachers in Oakland – who can be role models to troubled youth. A close friend of mine is a public school teacher in Emeryville -- and she LOVES her job (English). I am certain you'll achieve your dream, dead. Keep at it and good work !

@tfar:
So do you think that cat pic is tampered or is that the real thing?
Beats, I never doubted the cat in the pic was genuine, but am amazed at how HUGE (and beautiful) it is!

Just got my Ladies Medium 4526J Iron Heart Jacket. It fits PERFECTLY ! It looks so-o-o-o much better on me than the SEXIH07BK Type III did – let me tell you. This jacket is sheer PERFECTION. Giles, if a SuperBlack version were available – I'd buy it in a heartbeat. But I know it's not.

Oh, Shubs, you are funny! So thrilled you love the jacket so much - can't wait to see the pix that G has just demanded

@shubharamani:
PS…Paula, I got the little present for my Mum. I'll make sure to give it to her...Thanks ! I've seriously found my soul mate in life. This Iron Heart denim jacket. I want to marry it and bear its children.
That is one excited soul!.. And I thought I was excited wearing new Triple Works jeans!..

Quick fit pic of Shubha in her new Iron Heart Ladies Medium denim jacket…more later. I owe you pics of myself in the IHSH-16 Red Chambray too...I promise soon ! Put it this way -- that SEXIH07BK Type III Size 36 jacket from Self Edge was definitely too big and bulky -- cuz the fit of this one is perfection ! Maybe if I were tall, I coulda pulled off the SEXIH07BK Type III....wore it layered or some shit. As a short person, I have no choice but to wear well-fitted clothes -- particularly when it comes to shirts and jackets.

Looks great Shubs! We await more flicks of your new acquisition!
