So do you think that cat pic is tampered or is that the real thing? Her arms are in the cat, you gotta go pretty far in photoshop to get this effect for a gag picture. Also, her arms are proportionate to her own body. I'd say that's a genuine picture but have never seen such a big cat.

Here's my announcement. Moderators need to be careful before they imply that anyone is "racist". Till is the anti-thesis of racist. I liken Till's "gene pool" comment to the very comment made by DougNg not long ago, something like, "if you lose your wee-wee while zipping up, it's a good thing – you're stupid as fuck and shouldn't be reproducing anyway". Honestly, sometimes, I feel that Till is a whipping boy. I was not in the least offended by his gun statement, though I'm totally anti-guns and anti-killing. Unanimous moderation ? If Till should have been reprimanded (mildly) at all, it's for his use of the gun metaphor – but definitely not for racism.

Tfar was not banned for being racist. He was banned for being abrasive, offensive and being argumentative
In addition, this is not his first offense. I receive complaints about him regularly
Should these complaints come face to face? In our opinion, no. This forum is not for personal disputes. It is OUR job to handle difficult personalities, not have a forum free for all (which would what would happen if all these complaints were public)
As for my comment vs Tfar's, there is a big difference between isolating stupid people which was very obviously in jest vs isolating a nationality

Well, OK…I concede that if I were French, I might be offended by Till's comments. But I know Till well (outside of this forum) -- and yes, he can be arrogant and opinionated -- but he's no racist. Oh well...onwards and upwards. For What It's Worth (FWIW), I thought the French were sweet as pie while in Paris. Never encountered a rude person even once. I was expecting the worst, because of the rumors and the stereotypes -- but in fact, found Parisians to be genuinely kind and helpful. And most of the youngish ones (30 and younger) actually spoke decent English.
I will say this -- this forum is a lot more tolerant than SuFu and styleforum. I have to be fair and admit that. If several people complained about Till, well...then, of course, the mods have to act.

Recent events aside, I think it is probably worth remembering that there is a a cross section of nationalities here. It may be that someone's colloquialism may be someone else's insult (however inadvertent). English only happens to be the lingua franca at this point in history, at another time we could be speaking German, Russian or whatever (admittedly a paper based forum might not work very well).

Thanks Shubzz! i'm majoring in Sociology. thinking about getting a minor in history as well. after that, i'm going to be shooting for a masters in Theology and we'll see where it goes from there. Really wanna be a teacher like my dad! But i wanna teach at Public schools in/around Oakland. They could really use some good teachers. As Too $hort said

Beats, I never doubted the cat in the pic was genuine, but am amazed at how HUGE (and beautiful) it is!

Just got my Ladies Medium 4526J Iron Heart Jacket. It fits PERFECTLY ! It looks so-o-o-o much better on me than the SEXIH07BK Type III did – let me tell you. This jacket is sheer PERFECTION. Giles, if a SuperBlack version were available – I'd buy it in a heartbeat. But I know it's not.
