They should not shrink much if any, but you should not wash in hot water or put them in the dryer just to be safe.  If you want to be sure, after you wash or soak them, pull on the inseam (gently) while they are wet/damp to stretch them out again.

I'm already hot soaked and tumble dry it..hopefully that shit gave my jeans maximize shrinkage so they will never shrink again..but thanks for your advice to pull them..

I hope so too.  Over time they should soften and stretch some, so if they fit when they come out of the dryer then you are golden.  If not, cold soak them briefly again and then try and pull (gently) a tiny bit of length out of the inseam.  Good luck!

For these measure the waist on your favorite jeans the way they do here, subtract 1 " and find the size that has that waist measurement. Check to make sure the other measurements check out and your golden

Go TTS.  (measure best fitting pair like IHUK does)

Might be difficult to find 634RAWs…they were limited... If you find, same advise.

For skinnier fit choose another model.

But this time a hemmed one, and I will hot-soak it before wearing.

Hey all, I contacted customer service earlier, but wanted to post here as well.

The buttonholes on my jeans look like they are fraying. I have posted some images below. The jeans are less than a month old and have only been worn around the house and to the office. Is this normal?

It's happened to me on a pair I sized down on. Like derivative said, easy fix.

Thanks for the replies. I am feeling better about the situation already.

                            What would you recommend:

Should I fix it? Take it to a local tailor? Send it to a denim repair specialist?

Tailor can do it in 5 min it will cost you 5 bucks. Or you can do it yourself. I watched the tailor then did it myself.

Yeah, it's not a complicated fix, but if your sewing skills are as terrible as mine, it's totally worth taking the jeans to a tailor.  D666 is right about the time and cost…

This was on my SR's when I got them.  Didn't call customer service, didn't take them to a tailor because the buttonhole stitch is still intact.  The fraying is just some frayed weft threads that were probably agitated during the sewing of the buttonholes.  These jeans are almost, if not more than a year old, so nothing of consequence has happened to the jeans because of this phenomenon.  I did not cut them because when I tried, I just pulled more thread out from the weave, but I didn't try very hard so it could be done with sharp scissors.

Hey everyone this is my first post

I had these since march, but didn't wear them during the summer, so i think 5months of real wear.

just a soapy cold soak a couple of months ago (looking forward to buy another pair so i can finaly wash this one)

Giles: got your email, thanks for the reply.

adam313: The issue with your jeans seems similar to mine.

From what I can tell, it looks like the button hole stitch is intact, and that loose threads are poking out from under the stitching.

At any rate, I think I am just going to stop by a local tailor and see what they have to say. Then, I'll either trim the threads, or have the buttonholes re-stitched.

                                        Thanks for your time!
