I gotta say I'm really falling in love with these over dyed jeans. I'm torn between these and the 634XHS as for which will be my next purchase!!!

There all amazing but go with 25oz. No words for how it makes you feel inside..

I love these jeans so much. The color is out of this world. Problem is: weight loss + denim stretch = they look too baggy and unflattering. I know Flo had some luck shrinking an OD shirt with a super hot bath, and I was wondering what kind of shrinkage you guys have gotten with these after first wash? Also, how much does it change the color? I've heard some say that it pulls more blue out than the black overdye, and I really want that electric blue shining through the super dark jeans look, so I'm a little worried. You guys are the best. JSJ.

Fat dudes need good clothes too.

^I have a similar problem. My 634s are two sizes too big ( + 2" stretch, so actually 4 sizes) and there is no chance to shrink them. At least in my experience.

I say go for it. Max Power got some shrinkage on an od piece: http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=282.600

I have a couple of od jackets and I've washed one mine in cold water and it looks virtually identical.  I'd not hesitate to do a hot soak/hand wash a couple of times.  Haraki's od is pretty stout stuff IMO.

I would flip them inside out and then hot wash/hot dry them.  Looks like yours needs a wash anyway.  you will get more shrink with a machine wash/dry

I'll also add that I love od.  It's so tough looking and the treatment does so many cool things to the fabric.

You can get a cetain amount of shrinkage with a super hot wash, but don't expect miracles. It's not more than a half size, as a rough guess. Maybe a dryer might add a bit.

Regarding the colour: Unless I'm in bright sunlight, overdyed fabric seems always black-greyish to me. Real electric blue is not that common to my experience.

You also have to keep in mind that it'll stretch out again in an eyeblink.

                        why so serious?

Thanks for the advice from everyone explaining how I could post pics on here. I'm not really into the baggy look but I'm definitely not into the skin tight look either. So here's some pics of when they first arrived and I put tried them on. So sorry if I sound repetitive but based on these pics will these stretch out more and give me that straight leg cut look? These just seem like skinny jeans to me.

Northstar, that fit looks great on you. Doesnt look skinny at all, actually looks a lil relaxed imo. The jeans will stretch but only where they "need" to. Since the thigh and knee look loose on you im pretty certain those areas will barely stretch at all.

Thanks pillow it's the legs that bother me. That's the part that I want to stretch the most. Outward that is.

634s is not a baggy fit. They are a straight leg and being that those are brand new they are 1st going to stretch and loosen up with wear.

Had about 5 months wear/one wash and are starting to get a nice sheen on the thighs and rear and got some nice blue poking through.

@Northstar, that's a LONG way from a skinny jean. Per georgeel, they're perfect, wear them in and you'll see/agree.
