Right there with you Mega.  There would have to be something funky about these for me to not pick up.  Can't imagine SE and IH ever letting that happen to the 634's.

I just wonder if these new 634 version will have the all blue thread or normal yellow, if yellow , I pray the pockets are stealth . I can't bear pockets arcs, I like plain or stealth

I'm pretty sure that they will have yellow thread. Also, you can just pick off the arcuates if you don't like them

I saw on SuFu that Kyia had mentioned they would be yellow but a shade darker so it wouldn't be so obvious. We will see in 9 days what a shade darker looks like.

Arcs are easy to remove. Just get a stitch puller (shouldn't cost more than a few bucks at Walgreens or Target). Shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.

I hear that Self Edge is releasing this exact same jeans in the 634 cut and contrast (yellow) stitching on October 20th, 2012.

If it's a different cut and has different stitching, it's not the same jean.

no but I soaked them a short time before getting them hemmed
