    @Max:

    I'm thinking of giving it a real hot wash..of course I know it has been washed hot in the dying process, but maybe a 70-80 degree wash might give it the tad shrinkage that would make it perfect? It worked perfectly on a FH Flannel and a Pike Brothers denim shirt for me. Opinions?

    well those other two items haven't been od'ed in the first place, so o/course there was some more shrinkage left!…don't think that it gonna help, but you won't know unless you try it, right? 😉

      I do not think it will work, the OD process gives it a lot more grief than a hot wash will I am afraid.

        Ok, thanks for the input. Normally I'm not keen on washing my stuff over 40 degrees, I thought 90 degrees are hotter than the overdying process…Might give it a try though.

          Won't do any harm….So give it a go.

            I don't think the shirt looks too big actually. One size down and it would likely be too tight on your shoulders and mid-section. Length-wise, I can still see your arcs so it's not like it's a dress on anything. Seems like a decent size for an overshirt.

              Thanks. in fact, it's about an inch in the arms and body, the rest looks ok to me. plus I lost a few pounds due to illness. If a hot wash brings some minor effects, it might even be perfect.

                don't think that it is a bad fit as of now, I see what you mean, but atm you have the option to layer it and if you are going down one this might not longer work, me thinking…

                  True. So, I'll give it a 90 degree wash and see then… thanks for all your input

                    I did a 95 degree wash and am quite satisfied with the outcome. The bodylength and shoulders shrank 2 cm, the chest 3cm, the arms 1 cm. I think the fit is now close to perfect, no?
