I'll reiterate my post. These don't really stretch. I feel like the fabric and constructional stitching settle down and that's where the 0.25in came from in the thigh of my pair. The waist has also settled out to about 35.25. As for all this soaking nonsense, don't do it, just wear them until they need a wash, then carefully wash.

just wondering why there is such a drastic jump in some of the measurements between the 36 and 38?
ie hem and knee
most sizes go up by like .2 or .3 at a time and then the 36 to 38 is almost a full inch jump?Well, I guess the main (and obvious) reason is that most of the other sizes go up in 1” steps until we get to 34 - 36 - 38 - however I checked the measurements and they are correct. In fact we only have one pair size 38 left and these are coming out at pretty much the published sizing, maybe a tiny bit smaller. We have six pairs size 36 and I measured them all, sizing variations are:
Waist - from 34.5” to 35”
Thigh - from 12.5” to 12.8”
Knee - from 9” to 9.3”
Hem - from 8.5” to 8.8”
