              how do you guys clean/polish yours when its all tarnished and dirty, I can only get the most outter parts clean, but the inside and hinges is impossible to clean.

              any tips? (I'm using a polishing cloth)

                I took mine to a jeweler it cost $35 to clean and polish it gets tarnished again in about 2 weeks.

                  Use salt and foil (google it), no point in giving money to a jeweler.

                        In the future, just go buy some silver polish or jewelry cleaner. Way cheaper in the long run. Or do the Salt and Tin Foil thing.

                              It did not shine but got super salt encrusted and took ages to clean with a "real" silver polish….

                                    Yeah they have a device for silver… I witnessed it once at a friend's place... It takes a while but it does look really good as a result...

                                            An electric toothbrush (sonicare) and silver polish will do wonders. Obvi use an old brush head, not one you are currently using.
