My guess would be 12am pacific time in USA.  For other countries it would be 12am of their westernmost cities if they have different time zones. But I'm just guessing

Yea all signs seem to point to 12:01am Pacific Standard Time.  3:01am Eastern Standard Time(my time).  Never actually pre-ordered nor stayed up this late before for anything.  Especially something of this magnitude.  Should be an interesting experience.

Managed to snag myself a pre-ordered iPhone 5.  Apparently the first group to be shipped sold out in an hour.  So proud of myself

I managed to get in during that first hour too thankfully.  Black, Verizon, went with 64GB as my music collection is getting pretty big…

Was a last minute decision on the black though.  Had been tempted by the white one for the first time with an iPhone.

You guys keep big parts of your collections on your phone? I'm using iTunes match, so don't keep much on my 16GB since I can access my entire library anyway.

Then again, my company pays for my data, so it's never a big concern.

I just ordered a 64GB Black from my local Verizon store. They told me it would ship on the 21st.. we will see what happens..

I ordered from Apple and it says shipping in 2-3 weeks. Got a black 64gb. Apparently, apple was surprised by the pre-order demand.
