Tips on the Website

I asked Shoque to implement functionality that would allow us to describe phrases that people may not know, in a way that does not screw up the look/feel of the website.

Aha! Can't believe you guys knew to drag the cursor over 'loopwheeled' though… Wasn't all that obvious to me anyway...

It's dotted underneath.  We tried with bold, we tried with a different colour, but everything else looked messy (like a Wikipedia page).  Also if we draw too much attention to it, it takes peoples attention away from written text that may be more important….

Yup, totally understand. On my browser however, the dotted lines weren't showing - which is why I asked. I'm using Chrome btw.

FYI, Shoque recommended a force refresh (crtl + F5) which has remedied the problem. Can see the dotted line now.

Yes, absolutely. Originally though, I was sat scratching my head thinking "what the hell am I missing here?", haha.

I presume this will be gradually expanded to other terms that are less familiar and/or misunderstood, like cordovan, duck, wabash and chambray (just as possibilities)?

You bet.  As and when I can get the time, I will be doing that…..I realised that (like all people in a specific business) we tend to chuck words and phrases around and we assume that everyone has the same knowledge.
