The Flat Head

Better come clean eh?
My order was rejected.. 33 is the biggest size left in stock. bummer
Was tempted, but value the comfort of the jewells.
Dare to wear 'em tight, guys! My jewels like it, I swear!
On other fronts: received a totally old fashioned invoice from Aero Leather on the FH deal, on real paper, coming in a real envelope. The jeans aren't here yet, but I love such old-fashioned selling formalities. Paper will be kept together with the flasher of the precious denim once they are here.
Pity that isn't the case already, as we have a scorcher of a hot day here, would have been brilliant for a freeballed bathtub ritual in them.

Just got my first FH tee and I think I lost part of my ear trying to squeeze my head through the neckhole
-
Yeah, I hate the neck holes on Flat Head tees. Otherwise, great quality, though.

Hey pookguy, which T and what size did you get 44, 46? Many of the FH Ts don't go up to 44.

Hey Mega, I picked up an Early Works tee in 46. A shame more designs aren't 46. I'd get em all! It's the perfect tee other than the hole. The length is great. No belly peeking out haha.

Decided to celebrate Nem's birthday with bathtub ritual of my new FH's … also happily coinciding with what may well be the last dry summerly day this season here. Have the soaking wet buggers on my bod right now as I type with blue stained fingers....
The objects in question as they came from Aero Leather in Scotland (I still totally "blame" Lando for calling this irresistible offer to my attention!).
The dry fit.
In flagranti in my bathtub.
I never even enquired, naive noob that I can sometimes be, whether this is sanforized denim or not? I expect I will be enlightened soon.
Now, buggers, DRY on me ASAP !!!
-
Yeah, of course it does, my fits invariably seem to do that to you. Besides my taste for snug fits, this time I have the excuse that it was the largest size available in the 50% reduced offer (W 31). The only other size was 30 and I abstained from trying that. Now: do you happen to know whether this particular denim is sanforized or not?
-
Pretty sure it's unsanforized.
Oh, and I think Finn's man crush on you is cute.;)
-
Thanks for the info, Chris. Guess it makes the size "choice" more daring, but increases the "molding on body" effect that I so like about going through all that trouble with that tub thing for.
Now out into the air for speeding up the drying. Finn can cope with his crushes just fine, I believe…..
-
deffo raw denim m8,,,no sanforisation at all,,and them waist 31s are gonna shrink like dipping yer dangly bits in the North Sea,,,check yer throat for a couple of new lumps ;),,,,,just remember when you wash em proper say in 6 months or so,,,wedge the wasitband with some bits of wood ,,stops em shrinking past where the jeans become un-wearable
-
Back home safe and sound, and eventually dry again. First two hours with the still really wet jeans was a challenge. Shrinkage is far less dramatic than expected. I can see what you mean, Nem, as they now are REAL tight just in the waist (beltline), but just fine on butt and thighs. But the bastards scratch now, particularly on my knee bends. Have to appeal to my masochistic side to really like it. Won't, alas, be able to wear them with a cuff I think, they did shrink noticeably in the length. I wonder what taller people than me (179 cm, or 5' 10,5") do ?
-
Congrats to your bathtub ritual 501
And I'm happy that they're still wearable for you without too much shrinking
