Is the IH Wabash the same as a denim weave or does it have it's own specific wabash twill weave?  I've been wondering because other companies advertise their wabash as a denim weave. Like everyone already knows, there is zero content on the history of wabash.  Just wondering…...

I effing love IH wabash, old or new.

There are many denim weaves.  The weave is a twill and it comes in different configurations.  For the current Wabash, we weave a twill with rope dyed indigo warp and weft and then beach the dots…

Is the IHSH-38 a dobby weave?  I was comparing the weights of my 18 & 38. It feels like the 18 is a little heavier and a tighter weave. The 38 is a loose weave and soft in an indescribable way. We need more shirts made of the 38 type of fabric, it's amazing.

Yup, the 38 fabric is truly a thing of beauty. Breathes well in hot weather and has so much texture to admire.  😘

Ah, I was looking at those, but they look so very dark in the product shot, almost black, but in your shot they look a more versatile brown!

Would you say that the toe box of the Hoggs are similar to this?

Thanks! A little taller, a bit more rugged looking seams and hooks at the top! Elsewise the lasts look quite similar.

Yes, yes… yes. But, even if there is more interest they wouldn't be produced for a good few months? Don't want to cripple Haraki with more work when the Autumn/Winter season is so near.
