I have a question for beautiful_FrEaK..

I saw you introduce the SJ42CP heavy Chino's on sufu a few days ago.  Can you tell me more?  When are they available and which Samurai cut is it equivelant or closest to for sizing purposes?

This is not a jeans - so you can not compare the cut…

I'm sure there are other Rakuten shops that have them. It's only a question of time until people will show up with pictures and actual measurements.

Point taken regarding chino vs jeans cut.  I guess I was hoping that BF may have nabbed some already and could comment on how they compare to Samurai denim cuts.  I might just have to buy some myself and find out

@Mild7: no I don't own the chinos. They are scheduled for the end of September but you can pre-order them right now.
The official fit pics don't really convince me so far. The fabric looks interesting though

Excellent idea Brown, the only problem area is the waistband so I'll do what you suggest. There's still a lot
of starch in the fabric too so once that's washed out I'm sure they'll be much softer and easier to stretch.

when i soaked my sammys i put a piece of wood between the waist (Closed bottns)
so u have mor control about shrinkage

imo,  Texas cotton come loaded with so much starch cuz  of the short fibers, too.

No problem Brown, it's happened on here before! Joan is a friend of mine, we go way back to the 70's.
Still need to find something to stick in the waistband of my 510's, looked around the house and all I have is
plastic hangers…Will try to find a piece of wood or something stronger this weekend.
