Anyone know anything about these. Thinking of getting a pair of lace-ups made….
Beck is known for making tough, no-frills boots for working cowboys/ranch hands. Their primary customers are the ranchers in the Texas Panhandle region. I don't know anyone with a pair, personally, but their reputation is good. Prices are in line with comparable bootmakers, too.
The sizing kit is of a style I've seen before- you should be able to get a very good custom fit. Make sure you follow the directions carefully and add in any information you can about your feet- tendency to blister, corns, bunions, ingrown toenails, history of broken bones, etc. The bootmakers take all of that into account when they're constructing the lasts and more information is always better.

btw. G. are you the one that decides if you guys/IH is doing a collab with an other brand (becks in this particular case!) or did you have had to ask Haraki for his ok, since he actually is the one that has to put his name on it?!
also does the size of the other company matters (becks=smaller brand, only G.needed - viberg=bigger brand, H.and G.needed)?…
think I already know the answer, but maybe it still would be nice to know how you guys/IH are sorting things when it comes to a collab and such!... -
I have not even mentioned Becks to Haraki yet. I get the product and if I think it is good and worthy, I discuss with H. H always has the final say, but he is happy for me to look around and find suitable companies to work with. Basically G plays with companies he likes and then talks to H….
