Gonna pounce on a pair of these though need to figure out sizing.
I'm a 30 in my 634S-RAWs so i reckon it's either a painful size 30 in these or a still slim but looser 31.

I've recently got my 666S and gave it a first warm soak..It didn't shrink much and for the second time I gave it a hot soak..Notice only slight shrinkage..
The waist is still about 33.5 after the soaks for tag 33.Overall the fit is still ok but hope the waist can shrink down a little more.If I go for a third soak/machine wash will the color/fading be affected much?

I would say go for 31, or even a 32!
Thanks for the input Ronaldish. I may regret it but i'll pull the trigger on the 30s this evening.
As long as they won't look like denim leotards on me then i should be fine - i like slim but not Iggy Pop slim!

A 31 would have been seriously difficult, prolly close to what you call "leotards" or an Iggy Pop look.So a word of warning from a guy who not rarely hears "your jeans are too tight" from his denim compatriots.

Hmm…i hadn't considered 32s at all as judging from the measurements on the product page they'd be bigger than my 634S-RAWs. I'd be afraid that they'd be too big and loose. What sort of fit were those 32s like on you 501? Tight or comfy?
And yes - i like 'em slim

Deff on the snug side. The 31s were really difficult to button up, the 30s impossible. The 32 were fine, a tad looser than my W 30 634S, but not much.

Thanks for lobbing that grenade in there Giles. I had settled on the 30s, then the 31s, then the 30s and now I'm getting the measuring tape out and doing what i should have done in the first place!

LOL I am a 30 in everything and in the devils I took 29
really tight in thighs but I love 'em, waist is already back to a 30 and wow Mr Nietenhosen, your pair is just awesome, hope mine will be like that say in a million years…really nice

How i decided?
My 33 666S now measure 34…..
I'll save Giles typing that for the zillionth time! Hopefully i'll take up that baton and can say "my 30 666S now measure 31"
