that is an awesome looking jacket! FBJ? what does that stand for…
and i see in the patch that it has the motorcycles pulling the jeans apart so that jacket def has some years on it. Very very nice job on that. I doubt that model is still available
-
no, its cool giles
i understood that that jacket was no longer available the moment i saw the leather patch with the to motorcycles pulling at the jeans. Man, great design on the patch back in the day. Also, iron hearts arcs were some of my favorite back before the lawsuit.. i still like them now, but the ones before were soooooo slick! But what did FBJ stand for giles?

^ Thank you Giles, that is freaking awesome! i learned something new to file into my modest denim knowledge. thanks very much!

Thanks, Stewart. Those look great! Love it. Is it rubber or leather soles? I can't tell from the side which is good. I like rubber soles that have the same elegant profile as leather.
Also, the red t-shirt with the red lining of the coat is just the kind of detailed attention I like. There is perhaps one in a hundred men (if that) who pays attention to that kind of detail. It's true refinement without being ostentatious.

I'm concerned that if I wear the light grey suede boots in this torrential rain they'll look terrible too soon. I have plenty of clothes I beat the snot out of, and plenty of boots that I do as well, but I bought these for dinner parties and such and I don't always want to look like I just walked away from working in the forge. That make any sense?
Then again, I don't have much experience with suede. My nubuck boot look like a box of smashed assholes after six months of tearassing in them. Any tips on taking care of suede? I already sprayed them twice with that protectant stuff I got at the market, and I have a suede brush and eraser in case I spill something on them.
DEP, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. They remind me of my combat boots, but a lot nicer
