I've been seriously lusting over this vest since it was introduced, just not sure if it's a practical addition to my wardrobe or if I could "pull it off".  It's so freakin badass though! I wish there were more pictures of us larger guys wearing it.

So for over 5 years you have been wanting this Vest and you have not gotten it? I say COP!!! I don't wear mine all that much these days, but I can't imagine it not being in my closet for when I do want to wear it.

I mean, totally not trying to push you into anything but that is a long time to want a item of clothing. I am sure in that period of time you have spent money on clothes you don't like as much. Anyhow, if you do decide to get one, we would all love to see images. Cheers and good luck deciding…

It's cool man, and yeah, I've spent a good bit over that time on things I don't like nearly as much.  Much of it is office wear which kinda sucks, but is necessary.  I hate to ask sizing questions but I'm still kinda unsure on how to size it after having read the entire thread several times.  I typically wear an XL in most non-IH brands and either a XXL or XXXL in IH shirts.  A 48" chest fits me well with room to spare.    I've also got your old IHJ-05 which fits but is a little snug across the upper back.  I'll stop rambling about now.  Don't want to clutter the thread too much.

Hi Gratefulmelon nice thinking about this vest…you will not regret...I wear mine in S my usual size for IH shirts and tees also non-IH-brands...I think the cut is a bit fuller in the chest area and I could have sized even down to an XS for only wearing it with a tee under it. But I am quite happy now after it settled a little bit and wearing it with a nice heavy chambray or flannel under it. And it will even settle more...its really an armor vest

Just a guess but probably not. Go check out the IHV-04, it is a vest with no collar.

Unfortunately no it does not. Prob a good thing though since it is mostly used for layering.

hi guys, just curious, how long normally does it take to restock? or will it be restocked once this batch gets sold? i am heavily considering getting an XS in this but i'm afraid when I can afford it it'll be gone and i'll never be able to get one.

If Haraki has product in Japan we back fill when we can, we do try and keep some of everything extant in stock all the time.  Product like the vests and the jackets are only made every so often, so there are often gaps in our stock.

There is a reasonable to good chance, but no real way of being sure….
