I just came in here to announce it and you guys already know.  They look brilliant.  Of course, Haraki ignored my request to add a false cuff….And did a proper rebuild instead....

What exactly happened to the Tommy jeans to warrant a repair? Just curious.

He grew out of them.

Rather than just add a false cuff which "would have done the job", Haraki added material above and below the knee, this results in the knee (and associated fade) of the jeans staying in roughly the right place relative to Tommy's knee.  Just adding length at the bottom would have resulted in the knee creeping up Tommys thigh.

Oh the joy of working with a perfectionist….

So awesome …what a lucky kid...does he know and understand what they are?  I was wearing osh gosh and levi's when i was a kid and Tommy has on a pair of IH my father can kick ur ass jeans on

Stolen from the wall of the ladies (by my wife) at a mexican restaurant we went to with Self Edge last time we were in LA (and just re-found).  It caused much hilarity at the time….

Of yeh, Tommy knows and understands what they are alright. He knows exactly who Haraki San is (as he spent a weekend following him around Giles garden), and he always asks me what Haraki has been saying when he see's him pop up on my Facebook or Twitter feed.
