I've actually got the fabric samples out on my desk as I was looking at them earlier. The fabric is superb, so I am keen to do them. But unless I can get the cost down (this is the first time I have ever gone to Haraki and said "cost too high, what can we do?), my money is better invested in something that my gut tells me will sell quicker. shorts don't really reduce the cost; the labor is in the top block and the material cost savings are negligible. My guess is that shorts would be even slower sellers, especially at that price.

The fabric sounds fantastic and I know you've got the best possible cut there is; like I said they are the next go to trouser after jeans for all men. So I don't know what your gut is telling you but those are the facts. And I agree a better price will easily shift Iron Heart chino's out the door faster than you can say win win.

Should i grab the IHSH-59 red or a 16ss and cut the sleeves off of that…which would step my game up more. I dont own any IH plaid flannels I do have the 54 though and a 33...so i have a denim shirt and a flannel or should i just grab the bangle bracelet ??? Choices choices
