Gave red blood cells today with my family at Citi Field (METS). Each person who gave blood got 2 free tickets to a met game. We got 10 tickets for free. My 666xhs have been washed 2 times by the way in regular wash with regular detergent. The 1st wash lil happened but the 2nd they came alive

You go Sal, I'm the blood drive captain this month here in radiology and we appreciate you life savers!

BH..I have given blood probably 20 to 30 times since high school and platelets about 2 or 3 times. Its something everyone should do atleast once a year. I mean if u can do more then even better. I look forward to it for the free cookies of course
If anyone is interested my Older brother works for the blood drive and is always having huge events like today at Citi field which was a pretty cool experience walking around that place. I have to say going to any stadium other than Yankee stadium felt weird but for blood why not

2 weeks ago I did a hiking trip to the beautiful Saxon Switzerland in the near of Dresden. 6 days just I, my dog and the bagpack. 3 times sleeping outside, 2 times I took a room. It was really great to get away from the daily routine and to get the head free. So I want to share some impressions with you.
The Saxon sandstone is famous for climbing.
Sleeping place for the last night. This is a official place to spend a night in the national park, called Boofe.
Hope you enjoyed the pics.

God yes. Those pictures have really stoked my wanderlust. I have a week's break from work from today and will be getting out to the Peak District national park again. Cannot wait.

Holy cow, that herb garden is amazing. Julie keeps trying to convince me that we need to start one, but I'm worried that Texas heat will annihilate whatever we try to grow…
