Who Skates?

Anyway, how much time and dedication would it take to pick up skating as a leisurely activity? I've always loved the idea of skating as it is something that you can do on your own; just zone out and take in a nice day with your board and some asphalt. However, as the years went by, I always used my age as a reason to not seriously give it a chance. ("I'm too much of an old fart now."

Just got back into it about a year ago after about 20 years off. Surfing had swallowed up most of my time, but just landed here in San Fran and its a bit cold/sharks for my liking. So i reconnected. No IH in these, but will be soon. Oh, I'll be 40 this year so eating shit takes on a whole new meaning.
