I'd like to think of myself as a nice pimp.

But seriously, Iron Heart is my main love - Haraki thinks of me as "family", and that dictates what I do with other brands, I do the other stuff because I think that it is complimentary.  I may get other brands as well soon, but Iron Heart will always be Number 1.

Simon, it says pretty clearly in the text and in the picture legend which is LHT and RHT. Basically you put your jeans in front of you like the are facing you. If the diagonal ribs go from the lower left to the upper right, it's a RHT. It's a rising line. If they go from the upper left to the lower right, it's a LHT. It's a falling line.

They say LHT is softer. When I tried some Lee models in LHT and RHT I was not sure if I could tell the difference and I'm pretty good in the tactile department. I was once (and probably still am) able to tell on the back of the hand of a 17 year old girl on which hand she used a scrub and on which she didn't. So we are talking about micron differences.

Maybe it was just these particular two models I tried but really the difference was most minimal if there was one at all. Now after several washed that may change but I am not there yet.

I kind of like the idea of getting jeans in different weaves. I hope I can find a broken twill and I would love to get one of those Evisus that have one part in LHT and one part in RHT.

        Till

Dunno man, just curious at the mo. If IH can offer a bolt length then I'll take it from there. I was thinking that the 13.5 weight Tripleworks would be a good denim potentially for this purpose.

Let me check.  21oz is a complete no no, there is no way he will let anyone else touch it, and quite frankly, we are struggling to make enough for our own purposes, but I suspect we may be able t get hold of the lighter stuff.  G

21oz would likely be too thick and stiff anyway. Would be very uncomfortable and almost impossible to sew. You have to hold in the sleeve about and inch or so to fit the arm hole. That would be very difficult with such a stiff material. The only way to do it would probably be to work with the little bit of diagonal stretch you have in the denim. But that would then throw off the fit of the rear shoulder. So the 13.5 oz is indeed the better choice. Consult with your tailor before ordering.

Does this include the super black stuff? Say even in little remnant amounts for somebody adventurous wanting to make pockets for their superblack type III?

Those Wranglers are awesome, Beatle. I looked if I could find a pair in BT locally but no such luck. 😞

Simon, no difference in difficulty between RHT and LHT. Broken Twill might be a bit more complicated but once the machine is set up correctly it should be no problem.

Excuse my ignorance or if answer if already.  Is there anything in between IH301S and IH634S? Wanted something around ~8" leg opening. Would the 634S shrink a little with a hot soak? (I would be buying size 30). Thanks in advance all.  🙂

I'm going to throw this out there and guess. The SEXIH07 line, made by Kiya (Self Edge). Unfortunately, SESF is sold out ! You can call SENY though – they may have your size. As DougNg says, the cut of these are PERFECT for those who find 634S a bit wide and 301S too skinny. Don't forget 461S though...IMHO, they're just as skinny as 301S except they flare a little at the bottom.

Oh almost forgot to mention -- 634S barely shrink at all. Don't count on shrinkage for any IH "S" varieties...if they shrink a little, they'll stretch right back out after 2 weeks of wear.

Danbin.  No intermediate currently, but watch this space.  I have been hard at work over the past couple of days (with a little bit of help from my friends) designing the next 2 special releases.  One will be a super-duper limited edition, one will be a regular addition to the range.

And no, I don't have release dates yet :), and yes that is all I can tell you at the moment 🙂
