They already are beautiful, and a testament to the fact that you can wash your jeans in the early days and still get great fade patterns.

btw. there´s no rule not to wash your jeans when you feel like it/feel like they do deserve a wash!…and keep in mind: the "magic progress" of fading isn´t over after a wash 😉

Yea i'm getting closer to washing them..I mean they already have a certain kinda stench  from getting them rained on  and all the strenuous shit i'v put them through so far…I put them in the freezer last night and that did some strange things to them which was unexpected other than helping with the smell.  BUt a wash will def do them good.  I retired them from posting on the forum until I get them to where i want fade wise.

Makes no difference, just keep those creases in tact, like kiya preaches, WATER DOES NOT MAKE YOU LOSE INDIGO! (I mean it really does but it's so minimal. It's abrasion that does it)

Im giving them another freezer night.. My plan was to wait 2 or 3 months so if anything i'll wait to 2 months and then they are gonna get most likely a soak with a tad detergent but no agitation.  That should help prevent any damage to the denim as well as helping with any smell they might have.  Once thats done ima start washing them every 2 weeks or so

yea maybe true but it atleast gives me something to look forward to in the morning.  It was like finding $500 in the freezer

I say go for the wash.  Whenever I feel like my jeans need a wash I just throw em in the machine with some Dr.  Bronners.  Usually ends up being every month or so…

On topic.  It would seem SE is out of my size online.  Not being motivated enough to call in = temptation removed.  For now...

Its not that they stink from sweat or anything they actually smell fine..I probably got the thought to freeze my jeans just so I can experience just about everything with them whether useless or not.    I  mean I may look back at all my worries and silly things I did in my denim and laugh.. eventually telling the next newbie what u are telling me…This is my trial an error stage as i am still feeling around & figuring out my own path to glory.

Actually, a norwegian biologist just said that somewhere between 50-70 % of the bacteria found in denim does not live trough -18, so if you have a proper freezer, most of the bacteria will die, and that will in turn reduce smell issues too.

Seize the day and don't you cry.
